Native to West Birmingham, AL, Hip-Hop artist/producer Paul Ivy was born on Jan 9, 2001. The young artist boasts skills in lyricism, flow, and creativity. Accompanied by Jrnl, EJ Powell, Asia Fields, Nick Online and Dwanye Baba, Ivy is a founding member of the genre blending collective Bold Bloom.
Growing up with no musical training Ivy picked up beat-making as a hobby. This pastime quickly became a passion as the he honed his skills in sampling and programming full tracks. Ivy also began writing songs in middle school with no initial plans to record or perform. However, that would all change in 2021 when he moved from Birmingham to Muscle Shoals, AL to further pursue his musical career. Since then, the collective has gained popularity and traction in the southeast, including opening for artists: Yung Gravy, Lamont Landers, and Billy Allen and The Pollies.
